Started in Honduras, Rocky Patel expanded its Rocky Patel little cigars range to include the Nicaragua area. Rocky Patel little cigars today mainly come from the Plasencia factory in EstelĂ. The Nicaragua fan is happy about a larger selection and the rest of the cigar world is excited to see what can be expected from the ever new cigars. Many blends today contain tobacco from both Central American countries. It doesn’t matter where the Rocky Patel little cigars are ultimately rolled – the main thing is that they taste good!
Rocky Patel originally worked as a lawyer in Los Angeles. In the 90s, a friend brought him into contact with the cigar culture and immediately caught the attention. After co-founding the Great Havana Club in Los Angeles, Rocky wants more.
He decides to continue in the cigar business. He begins to invest money in Honduran long fillers and so the story of an outstanding cigar brand begins, which is firmly established in the premium segment to this day. Rocky Patel cigars from Honduras were initially the more important ones compared to those from Nicaragua, but the tide has turned mainly due to unrest. Unfortunately, both countries are currently anything but safe production locations for good long filler cigars.
All the while, Rocky Patel’s actions bear witness to a great idea. Nothing less than creating the perfect cigar is the challenge he faces every day. He started to go his own way early: With the Indian Tobaco Group, he supported young companies.
With the modern boxes it stands out from the crowd, with the special lines it creates smoking goods for every type of connoisseur. Nicaragua with new series Nicaragua has become a country with a lively cigar market. The man also brings so many new series onto the market that retailers and consumers sometimes feel downright overwhelmed.
Clear that Rocky Patel also dares to take a step there. Nicaragua now has three new lines that complement the portfolio: The R. P. Freedom series represents the “struggle” that Rocky Patel is waging in America against unfair taxation and regulation of tobacco products.
