The Cohiba little cigars trademark flourished in 1982, when it entered the world market.
During its existence, the company has won many awards and titles, receiving the highest expert ratings for its Cohiba little cigars. The initial conquest of the market, and almost immediately – international, began with three formats of Cohiba little cigars: Lanceros, Coronas Especiales, Panetelas.
The release of Cohiba little cigars was timed to coincide with the World Football Championship held in Spain. They did not fit into the generally accepted criteria of Cuban production, so a separate name was invented for them: Linea Clasica. They made up the first “signature” line of cigars.
And literally just several years later, in 1992, grandiose celebrations were held in honor of Columbus’s discovery of the American continent. For this event, the Cohiba brand has created a new series of Cohiba little cigars, numbered from 1 to 6. Each number symbolized a certain century and reflected the spirit and direction of that era (siglo is translated from Spanish as “century”).
The “century” series was unfinished, and in 2002 Cohiba launched the new century cigar – the Cohiba Siglo VI. The cigars of this series have their own specific taste and constituent components that most accurately reflect the traditions and rhythm of life of their century.
Another significant event was the appearance of a completely new type of cigar, where one tip was pointed – a pyramid. They were packed in porcelain containers, and a special humidifier was also placed in it to preserve the quality of the products. Cohiba little cigars are collectible, for this reason they were never sold individually.
Created on the streets of Havana, Cohiba little cigars have become classics in the cigar world, synonymous with extravagant taste and sophisticated aroma. Today, these premium handcrafted cigars are produced in the Dominican Republic, but they remain as delicious and sophisticated as they were in the beginning.
