Toscano little cigars are cigars originally made in Tuscany, Italy, whose special design, made from heat-fermented Kentucky tobacco, is based on a long tradition. Toscano little cigars are a fortunate circumstance. It is the fact that the world owes the existence of one of the best cigars that can be bought on the market today. Because the success was so great, this process is still practiced today and so the Toscano little cigars are more a product of chance than an actually planned development. But this curious fact is not the only peculiarity of the famous cigars: the insert is made up of the famous Kentucky tobacco, which, strictly speaking, is actually just a pipe tobacco.
In addition, Toscano little cigars also differ from their Caribbean counterpart in terms of production. First the tobacco is moistened and then dried with the help of a charcoal fire. It is due to this procedure that the tobacco contains significantly more nicotine, which makes the cigar one of the strongest ever. Furthermore, the insert is wrapped in the cover sheet of the cigar without an additional binder. A tasteless adhesive that is used to treat the leaf provides the necessary hold. The cigars are then dried even further, so that they also belong to the dry cigars that do not have to be stored in their own humidor. Of course, this makes storage a lot easier, but it’s not for everyone either.
The origin of most brands of cigars is documented with an extensive history, so that every aficionado can find out in detail the exact circumstances of the origin. With the Toscano little cigars, however, this is not so easily possible, since it was created under extremely nebulous circumstances. Today there are only legends and speculations about the exact process of the first production.
At this point, however, the development of Toscano little cigars becomes mythical: a complete harvest of tobacco plants is said to have been devastated by a great rain. Afterwards, great exposure to the sun ensured that the tobacco was cemented. This composition was so popular with the people that more was demanded and so suddenly there was a demand for a product.
